As Team Lead Assortment (m/f/d) at ​Contorion you will responsible for a talented team of ​3-7 ​Category ​Managers and their performance. You will recruit, develop and retain your high-performing team with a focus on coaching and empowering. In your daily work, you are ​accountable for driving the business growth by delivering the financial KPI plans and adapting to change accordingly to Contorion's expectations.

Your Tasks

• You lead, promote and motivate your team and implement personnel and development measures in close coordination with the management and the personnel team.
• You continuously develop the merchandise groups based on the key performance indicators and keep an eye on the turnover and profit targets.
• You observe the market and the competition in Germany and abroad (trade fairs, shopping trips, online analyses), derive price strategies, and offer concepts from this information.
• You are responsible for the supplier management in your area and prepare your team for successful negotiations on conditions and framework agreements. 
• You identify potentials for process optimisation within and outside of the category management team.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed your business studies and have already gained at least 6 years of practical experience as well as 2 years of management experience.
• You are enthusiastic about e-commerce and are familiar with the challenges that growing companies have to face in an agile environment (e.g. internationalization)
• You convince with your strategic mindset as well as your structured and result-oriented way of working.
• You are a strong communicator and distinguish yourself through your ability to listen actively as well as through your strong negotiation skills.
• You are confident and professional and speak fluent German and English.
