International Sales Lead (m/f/d) in Berlin

Your Tasks


The International Sales Lead is responsible for the development of our international B2B sales, mainly in Austria & France, with more countries to follow. This includes:
  • Implementation and further development of the go-to-market strategy (e.g. correct customer selection by employees, strategy-supporting campaigns, definition of team-wide sales actions) with the aim of establishing and expanding intensive partnerships with B2B customers in the respective countries
  • Coordination with important departments such as International, Category Management, Logistics and Customer Service to ensure good customer care
  • Elaborating further development proposals for existing sales tools as well as online features used or desired by business customers
  • Increasing the efficiency of processes within the country markets to maximise time with the customer
  • Support in the recruitment of new staff
  • Input for target setting on a quarterly basis
The International Sales Lead is operationally and disciplinarily responsible for his/her staff. It is essential to exemplify the Contorion values and communicate the Contorion perspective for this. Furthermore, this includes:
  • Regular KPI review and monitoring of employees in 1-1 meetings
  • 360° feedback meetings (development & salary)
  • Regular training and audio tours for employees based on the Contorion coaching concept. Our Sales Training & Effectiveness Manager will be your sparring partner for this
  • Creation and implementation of detailed action plans for employees
  • Organisation and documentation of team meetings
  • Preparation of sales reviews and team leader meetings
  • Team time planning (attendance, status setting, holiday planning, etc.)

Your Profile

  • You have at least 5 years of sales experience in field sales or telephone sales. Ideally, you have already managed a team and have experience in staff development
  • You have a degree or a commercial apprenticeship with good final grades
  • You are business fluent in German and English, in addition you generally have excellent communication skills and act confidently in multilingual communication
  • You have strong analytical skills and are familiar with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools
  • You are empathetic and result-oriented. Furthermore, you like to work independently and in a structured way
  • You are enthusiastic about our industry and its diverse products. Ideally, you already have sales experience with these products
  • You are a positive person and bursting with energy; you are open-minded, creative, flexible, and bring the necessary engagement to make each of your employees a little better every day
  • You are able to present in front of teams and have already conceptualised, presented, and implemented sales approaches
