PHP Backend Developer (m/w/d) in Berlin

Your Tasks

• Support us with further enhancing and maintaining our internal systems like our web shop, inventory management system and together with other disciplines ensure we deliver code quickly and safely into production, help building tests and related developer tools
• Bring your knowledge and experience into our solution oriented discussions
• Follow best practices in software development, applying them to our code and improving on the whole codebase
• Work closely together with our cross-functional development teams in a SCRUM environment

Your Profile

• First working experience with PHP 7, standard frameworks like Zend, Symfony 2/3
• Knowledge about professional software engineering (paradigms like ‘inversion of control’, clean code, basic algorithms and data-structures, agile processes)
• Good English skills
• Our Technology Stack: 
• You don't have to be an expert in all areas of our technology stack, but most of the technologies should be familiar to you.
  • Backend: PHP 7, MySQL, Git, PostgreSQL, Aerospike, ElasticSearch, New Relic, Jenkins, Symfony 3/4, Twig, Composer, RabbitMQ, Codeception/PHPUnit
  • System administration: nginx, Saltstack, Rackspace Cloud, OpenStack
  • Frontend: HTML5/CSS3, Webpack, Gulp, NPM, ES6+, RxJS, SCSS, node.js, PWA, JEST, Twig, Typescript
