As Head of Procurement (m/f/x) at STIER, you will maximize profits through your market knowledge, decision-making skills for services, the right supplier selection and negotiation skills. Additionally, you will develop product-related services and design the product range to strengthen customer loyalty and promote profitable growth.

Your Tasks

  • You are responsible for developing the assortment and brand, conducting European-wide market analyses for sales markets (assortments, brands, prices, services), competitive analyses, and advertising evaluations, identifying trends, and deriving actions. Additionally, you shape assortments, prices, and services based on these insights.
  • You select, assess, and develop agencies and suppliers considering quality, service, and price. Additionally, you negotiate contracts with suppliers and establish the pricing framework to gain market share and optimize profits.
  • You take the lead in negotiating operational and strategic collaborations, including pricing, price development, terms, and optional exclusivities. Your goal is to secure agreements that ensure the best overall performance.
  • You develop and implement concepts for reducing inventory levels, increasing inventory turnover, and achieving high delivery rates. In doing so, you actively involve suppliers and various company departments.
  • You develop effective advertising campaigns and sales promotion initiatives through strategic planning, creative conceptualization, and precise execution to enhance brand presence and increase sales.

Your Profile

  • You have at least 7-10 years of experience in buying and had ultimate accountability for purchasing decisions of at least €20+ Million.
  • You understand how to find, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers across Asia and Europe.
  • You have a broad negotiation toolkit and experience in buying technical goods and understand the impact of product specification and composition.
  • You enjoy setting ambitious targets and exceeding them with your team.
  • You are proficient in English, Mandarin would be a plus.
