Your Tasks

• You lead and develop the team that is coordinating our activities in existing markets outside Germany and that prepares our activities in new international markets. 

• You are part of the Management Team and will work closely with all departments to make sure that international markets develop as planned. You connect the dots and empower cross-functional collaboration. Also, you drive changes required to accelerate international growth. 

• You will make sure we collect and interpret data to make smart decisions in our endeavors to launch several countries during the next few years (where best, where first, how)

• You continuously apply new learnings across countries to optimize for success and adjust to local needs to fulfill our ambitious business plan

• You constantly develop yourself, the team and our processes and thus ensure that each additional country is more efficient than the last

• You are responsible for target dates, milestones and project budget and ensure that our expansion projects run smoothly.

Your Profile

• Very good project management skills and experience in opening new international locations, ideally in a responsible position

• You have demonstrated exceptional leadership and strong cultural awareness skills that enable you to liaise and build relationships with stakeholders in any market

• Previous experience in leading a team and 5+ years of experience in scaling a fast growing tech company internationally 

• Ability to collaborate and communicate across functions to enable aligned global development strategy

• Fast comprehension, very good understanding of processes, as well as structured, exact and result-oriented way of working

• Ability to make good decisions and learn fast from mistakes

• Above-average degree in a field with an affinity for numbers, such as business administration, (industrial) engineering, (industrial) computer science, (industrial) mathematics or related subjects

• Very good knowledge of English, additional language skills are a plus
